Turner`s Whaler Painting
Passage of information from one generation to the next has been done in various ways in the world. In the 17th century when writing and painting tools were not available information was still being conveyed from one generation to the other (Howard, 2015). For instance, Turner used the art of painting to pass the message of the challenges and the nice times the sea dwellers usually experience while at sea. However, despite not being equipped with modern tools and effective watermarks that would make the work appear clear and better anyone interested in the message in the painting would see the whales and other species of fishes that Turner indented to show to the viewers (Hokanson, 2016).
Turners Whaling Pictures(Costello, 2017)
Turner himself never went to the sea and he is likely to have seen a whale neither dead nor alive and this must be the reason behind disagreement on his paintings. There is no clarity on what he was intending to paint and show the world (Art & Baetjer, 2009). Besides that, in comparison with the modern paintings and the works of some other painters, Turner`s work is way below the par due to lack of use of tools and a perfect understanding of what he intended to pass across (Brito, Vieira & Freitas, 2019).
