Final Project Instructions
The final project is going to involve the selection of a neurological disease, and the explanation of such a disease to the class in whatever manner you find most comfortable among the following:
A. Powerpoint Presentation
B. Poster Representation
C. Artistic Representation
D. Any other method of presentation, w’ith prior approval. (Maybe interpretive dance or ice sculpting?)
All students arc required to speak for at least 15 minutes regarding their topic, and I will be a stickler for this time around, when we are not working w’ith extra credit assignments, but rather an assignment of heavy point value. The final project worth will be 120 points, equivalent to a test grade, so the outline of expectations is important to consider. You are required to research 5 quality scholarly resources to support their topic and presentation, and these sources will need to be submitted on a separate sheet of paper.
Email me your topic for approval, and I will give some feedback on your direction of study. I will be grading on presentation quality, length, research, appearance, and overall displayed effort, so ensure that you give this your best effort.
Note Regrading Sources:
• 5 APA format for references: use a website to help you with this like easvbib.com if you are not familiar or comfortable with doing these at this point. Remember, they should be submitted on a separate piece of paper.
• Wikipedia is not a source and will no count as a source in your total. Though, if you arc looking for sources, you can go to the reference section at the bottom of the Wikipedia article and look through the sources cited there. Protip.
• The book does not count as a resource either, but can be a valuable starting point for your research.
