The Digital Media Initiative (DMI) was a project launched by the BBC in 2008. It aimed to modernise the Corporation’s production and archiving methods by using connected digital production and media asset management systems. After a protracted development process lasting five years, the project was finally abandoned in May 2013. In writing your report, you need to make reference to any relevant models, concepts (use citation if needed) and ideas you use to diagnose and make sense of the issues and problems which impacted the procurement of Digital Media Initiative (DMI) project. Your report needs to be in formal format with an introduction, conclusions recommendations and references.
