7) Banned Books Review- Each pair or small group will select five (6) books that, although frequently used in public schools, are sometimes challenged by members of the community. Book censorship becomes a concern when literature is the base for integrated teaching because there may be attempts to censor and ban books and curricular materials in the schools.In teams decide how you will present the content of the book(s) to the class. You must bring one book to class to share through reading along with an activity for this particular book when you present. Provide a 7-10 slide presentation making sure you share what makes this a banned/censored book, an overview of the book, year published, year(s) banned, type of story, what audience/age group, how would parents react to this book, how would you use it in your future teaching or why wouldn’t you use it? What skill(s) and concept(s) can be taught from the story?(10-15 minutes) Due Date: March 30€‹€‹Points: 50 pts
