Reflect on the leader covered in your One Team Gov podcastepisode. Consider what the course materials say about leadership in the public sector and apply the concepts/theories to the case of this leader. Also, think about the approach the leader is taking to solving public problems.

Think of this as a way to highlight your understanding of the full breadth of concepts and materials we’ve covered in the course. Apply the relevant concepts (asset mapping, public service, service design, design thinking, social entrepreneurship, public/private partnerships, nonprofits, etc.) in your analysis of the leader and their work.

Questions you might begin with (but must address more than just this): How does this leader embody or even depart from the values, motives, and work-related attitudes and motivations covered in Ch. 9 & Ch. 10. Also consider the role of diversity in public management and whether this makes a difference in the case your episode covered. Is this leader using service design/design thinking or elements of social entrepreneurship in their approach? How?
