Title-page

This should provide at least the title of the report as well as possibly some other relevant information. It could also contain an appropriate image or photo.

This should provide details of the section headings in the report and the (starting) page numbers for each of these.

Abstract

A short summary (not more than 100 words) of what the report is going to focus on outlining the key findings.

Introduction

This section should introduce the selected economy (transition or emerging) and company (expanding its existing operations or entering the country for the first time – but not originating from the specific country) you are planning to base your report on. You are expected to justify the choice of economy and the specific company. Your report will be more critical when choosing a specific company and this is beneficial because it will help you focus on a specific case, rather than being too general in your discussion. A more focused and analytical discussion is required at a PG level.

Background Information on the Economy and Company

This section should include relevant information on the economic system (maybe analyse the transitioning of the economy to a free market economy) in terms of the issues you find relevant to discuss which might set the scene for the discussion of the trade issues discussed in the following section. Use definitions to explain why the specific economy is regarded as an emerging/transition economy. You should also introduce the company you are basing your report on (background data about its operations). Provide some background information about the sector in which it is operating and main competitors.

Analysis of Key Trade Issues

This section should include a fairly detailed discussion and analysis of the key trade issues that the company should consider in the specific country. Choose three of the following trade issues that have been also covered in the weekly lectures and apply them to the country and company you have chosen to focus on:

· Globalisation and comparative advantage

· Economic integration and trade blocs

· Protectionist measures

· Exchange rates

· Production, outsourcing and logistics.

· Foreign direct investment and foreign capital markets

· Exporting, importing and countertrade

You could start by giving appropriate definitions and using diagrams to outline how these are explained theoretically. There needs to be a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages that these issues might cause for the overall benefit of the economy and company under consideration. You need to link the analysis of the relevant trade issues to the problems they may cause for managers. Make use of analytical approaches discussed in class as well as theories that can be applied in specific cases (using diagrams and other visual examples is highly recommended)

Conclusion

This section should include a summary of the main issues that have been discussed in the report and some recommendations in relation to the trade issues analysed about the chosen economy that is being considered.

List of References

All studies and sources cited in the text should appear here and be fully referenced according to a consistent style (we recommend Harvard style).

Appendices

Supplementary statistics or information on specific issues may be be included here if required.

As part of Riverside Sunderland Masterplan, the Sunderland City Council plans to build 1,000 homes to rent and buy, with community facilities and social infrastructure for a population of 2,500. The proposed project seeks to create a unique place to live, i.e. a carbon-neutral community in a stunning landscape setting in the heart of a great industrial city. With an extensive walking and cycling network and easy access to public transport, Riverside Sunderland will encourage healthy living and reduce car dependency. Smart homes will be digitally enabled for comfort, convenience and energy efficiency. Community facilities will promote sociability and active citizenship. Following the recent entry of the insurance giant, Legal and General, into the housing market, others are keen to get involved too. In particular, Vitality Life has secured (for the purposes of this task) a collaboration with the Sunderland City Council, as the primary funder, to deliver the vision for the Riverside development project, specifically, the 1,000 homes. The first 800 homes will be delivered in four new neighbourhoods: Vaux, Farringdon Row, Ayres Quay and Sheepfolds. As the new community takes shape other opportunities will come forward, notably in the Heart of the City. 45% of the new homes (367 units) will be south of the river, at Vaux, Farringdon Row and Ayres Quay, and 55% (445) north of the river, at Sheepfolds. The majority (72%) will be houses and maisonettes including 378 3/4-bedroom family houses. The development will aim to achieve a relatively high density of around 74 homes per hectare across the MCE | Learning and Teaching Version 2.0 | Page 3 of 6 whole site, with a limit of less than one car parking pace per dwelling, due to the big push to reduce car dependency and promote active travel. Key Programme Features are described below: 1. standardised designs, 2. more accurate market intelligence, 3. providing jobs, training and supply-chain opportunities for Sunderland residents and businesses, 4. reduced costs with an ambitious 15% target, 5. improved programme certainty, 6. reduced risk, and 7. greater innovation and improved relationships across the supply chain. Key Project features are described below: 1. Substantial cost savings, 2. Innovative, high-quality designs and sustainable standards, 3. Flexible use of space, 4. Tight construction programme with improved programme certainty, 5. Collaborative working by integrated team, across Client and Contractor teams, 6. Commitment to local economy, and 7. Although planning approval for the scheme has not yet been granted, planners are confident that this will be secured. Although the Councils inhouse estates team has technical construction expertise, they have no capacity to design and project manage a scheme of this magnitude. They are therefore now seeking to procure the necessary expertise to move the project forward: ¢ Necessary consultants to assist in getting the project off the ground by January 2022. ¢ Construction contractor(s) and such other specialists as are necessary to carry out the various elements of construction work. ¢ The councils own inhouse estates team has some initial ideas which theyre keen to explore with the selected consultant designers. ¢ The client is undecided on whether to award the entire project as one contract or to break it into the four natural packages, according to the four new neighbourhoods, namely: Vaux, Farringdon Row, Ayres Quay and Sheepfolds. ¢ The client is also undecided as to what other key consultant it needs to assist in the securing the completed project in order to achieve completion by September 2023. For your note this week, create an HEENT related CC. Create an ID, CC, HPI, ROS, V/S, physical findings, and assessment with at least 3 differential diagnoses, a final diagnosis, and treatment plan in a full SOAP note format. Use an HEENT related CC that a patient would present with in a primary care setting (i.e. no emergency room or ICU type complaints. Examples: sore throat, ear ache, hearing loss, eye drainage, etc.).
Include at least two references for your diagnostic and treatment plan. They should be recent (in the last 5-10 years) and peer-reviewed. Use APA title page, citations, and reference format. Ensure the treatment plan includes all components (diagnostic plan, therapeutic plan, education plan, and follow up).
The ROS and physical exam in your document should be written up as they would be for a problem focused visit. The HEENT part of the physical exam write up should be a comprehensive write up, including everything you assessed in your recording.
